Summit | Fall 2009
SA is help bring Donald Miller, author of Blue Like Jazz, to Summit in September 2009, as well as supported a Homer Hiccolm and the Rocketboys concert.

Recycling on campus | Fall 2009
Recylcing Receptacals were placed in Nelson and COBA
and a large dumpster was placed in the parking lot north of Barret.

ACU Disk Golf Course | Fall 2008
SA was quick to help fund a hole on the new course.

Extended Library Hours | Fall 2008
We worked with the library to extend hours for finals.

Football Tickets | Fall 2008
We provided free tickets to the student body for the playoff games.

Def Jam Poets | Spring 2008
SA brought Def Jam Poets to campus.

Welcome to Abilene
SA hosts this event and brings in a number of local vendors and restaurants
to help new students get acquainted with Abilene.

Ultimate Frisbee Club | Fall 2007
SA helped create the competitive, traveling Ultimate Frisbee Team for the benefit of many ACU students.

Lights on the Lunsford Trail | Fall 2007
SA supported the addition of lights around the Lunsford Trail.

Off-Campus Living for Presidential Scholars | Fall 2007
We helped negotiate arrangements allowing Presidential Scholars to live off campus with a
minimal deduction to their scholarship.

Fall Break
Since ACU Students do not get off for Labor Day, SA Congress worked to establish Fall Break,
a long weekend in October for all ACU Students and Faculty.

Warner Bros. Television
SA Congress worked with the Dean of Campus Life to bring the WB to ACU’s normal cable service.

More Convenient Bean Hours | Spring 2006
SA Congress worked with the Bean to open the Bean on Sunday nights so that students had somewhere to eat.

Bike Racks | Fall 2005
Networked with the Foreign Language Department to provide new bike racks around campus.

Creation of Sikes/WPAC Parking Lot
SA Congress helped create a more accessible parking area between Sikes and the Williams Performing Arts Center.
